Tuesday Toes: Shadowstalking

Kat Mortensen's book Shadowstalking arrived on the central coast of California yesterday!  (Note the wine grapes in the foreground)
She wanted to know where I read it, and as usual, I have no time to write.....
so here's Tuesday Toes with her new book of poetry:  Shadowstalking.  You may read her work, and order her book yourself,   HERE . (Note these are the more typically golden hillsides you may expect)

  2. Oh God! what a way to hold a book, Diane!

If I could exchange -- In Hindu tradition, Book, paper etc is Goddess Saraswati...An accidental touch of foot on paper would elicit a pardon...well, we are one lot who do pooja for the Earth and my mother says we got to seek permission and pardon of Earth before we set our foot every morning on Earth...I don't do that....but always walk with reverence,

anyway...thats too long a comment- but not about the book showcased...Congrats to her publication :)

  3. Hi Dianne,

I love this! What a great shot and it's so cool to think my book is resting in the vineyards of California. If you'd have told me three years ago this was even possible, I'd probably have laughed in your face!

I'm stealing the photo and will post it with a link back to you now.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the book!

    All the best!

    Kat

  6. You must be very "toe-dextrous"! I have Kat's book sitting right in front of me. It came a few days ago, and I haven't had time to go find a corner and indulge yet. But I am enjoying the anticipation.

Nice shots of the California landscape. The rolling golden hills always remind me of M.A.S.H. Hawkeye is just over that rise, waiting to pull a practical joke on Frank.
