Serendipity in a paradox #11

Out of darkness          into light

Before the dawn,
the land is void
shifting between chasm
snd cliff face.

From undifferentiated darkness
a vaporlit film forms
in the vanishing points:
sourceless, pervasive.

Sensing massiveness
evolving:
onyx edges
cut the firmament.

Moving into emerging
valleys, vales and voids:
envision indefinite shapes
into illuminated forms.

Hills metamorphosis
into volumes
to touch
and circumscribe.

The pearling vault
extrudes greens below
transposing
illusions of black.

Flushed-tinged
cheeky clouds
blush to barely touch
the unseen sun.

Facing the evanescent
blooming dawn
gives the most brilliant
gift of sight.

Another take on the theme, it is always darkest before the dawn. May you find Serendipity when it comes your way

  1. This is gargantuan. Girl!
This is my favorite stanza (slightly edited, as is the editor's wont):

    Flush-tinged
    cheeky clouds
    blush above
    the unseen sun.

    Cheeky clouds! Girl! Brilliant!
