Alas, these are not mine. I am a pedicure virgin.
This pedicure was the decoy for my room mate from college, while we set up her surprise 50th birthday party.
How many of you, male or female, have had a pedicure?

Wordless Weds. = Tuesday Toes
Leonardo knows, the smile Mona Lisa shows, and today's lack of prose, are due to Tuesday Toes!
This is my answer to wordless wednesday, to say a brief Hi and check in mid-week my fellow bloggers. I am ok, not in any hospital (unless working) and not writing (unless on a new computer charting system - aack!)
I don't travel much, but started these photo shoots after college, to add humor and a foreground gage to scenic travel shots. These lovely piggies are compliments of my college roommate, Anne G, taken from the Louvre last month! Thank you, Anne. As Kim said in response, I bet the guards thought they'd seen it all until now!
Feel free to comment, or send your own shots of life in your shoes! Ha!

Wordless Weds. = Tuesday Toes
The best part of Halloween is making the costumes, the worst part is finding out only 1 in 10 of my family had actually SEEN "Avatar" (sigh).

Wordless Weds. = Tuesday toes in Calif.
Wordless Wednesday (not so wordless!): For the Salinans, no name for their own people exists. We live in the nameless lands of mysterious native peoples, now extinct. From the valley of bears, to the cerros of volcanoes, the Cholame creek of steelhead trout, to dragon lakes, and the seco rivers forming man-made lakes.
"Yokuts": is all we are told…..
What will we be named….?

during a trip
to New York City in 1993......

tuesday toes: THIS LITTLE PIGGY
I've been here, have you?
Kim , my distant traveling companion,
sent these for travelog.
This week we go to Seattle.
I have been to Pike's Place market, and the
Space Needle
with the foot photo. (Pre-digital photography)
I invite you fellow travelers to send your version of Wordless Wednesday, my answer: Tuesday Toes.
Let me know if you have a phoot photo worthy of your travels this week.
My alternative to the typical portrait shot of a head and shoulders. et cetera. for the last 17 years.

Tuesday Toes: Shadowstalking
Kat Mortensen's book Shadowstalking arrived on the central coast of California yesterday! (Note the wine grapes in the foreground)
She wanted to know where I read it, and as usual, I have no time to write.....
so here's Tuesday Toes with her new book of poetry: Shadowstalking. You may read her work, and order her book yourself, HERE . (Note these are the more typically golden hillsides you may expect)

Tuesday Toes: Puerto Vallarta
In preparation for a recent trip to Puerto Vallarta with “the girls”, my friend Kim painted her toenails caution cone orange. The rest is pretty clear......
The answer to the riddle on Sunday's Poetry Bus Challenge: "The Trick" is a Chinese Finger Trap. (-or a relationship counselor, if you have ever needed one, you'll know what I mean.....) Some of you got it, weave was the clue.
