Sacred, sparkling,
pristine, and white,
labeled with too much care….. or neglect?
Stained, sticky,
scummy, stinky,
under-washed,
but cared-about usefulness!
Shiny, polished,
glassy, sterile,
unused, neglected,
disregarded?
Chopping
with loving gusto,
with excesswith loving gusto,
wantonness!
The scales tip,
unbalanced.
Kindly, attentively,
noting the soil,
caress it to
a smooth rebirth,
in a moment
of balancing regard.
(this should be titled, "cleaning up the creative mess" but that's too crass)

my you have quite the descriptors today...smiles. i like the other title...lol. but maybe thats just me. nice 55.
ReplyDeleteI create messes all the time. It is one of my worst habits. It seems too that for a guy who never plans beyond today i would have time to clean them up...naw I just leave them lay on the lawn and let them decompose and deconstruct to nothingness. Less effort involved and I never cut my hand on that damn blade.
ReplyDeleteYou had me visibly shaking at "Stained Sticky Scummy Stinky"....

You surpass my Sunday morning density. Fun hopping from fragmented thought to fragmented thought. Glad to have your ending subtitle. Liked Walking Man's comment a lot.
