interesting poem here... i'm taken by how the missing last half syllable leads to a kind of anticipation -- and then to see the label of senryu seems to clear some of that up... nice play on form...
That elephant-like rock you show dredges up an old memory. In a small boat I went under the so-called 'crocodile rock' in Gozo near Malta. I was promised a sunset I'd never forget.
